    COUNTER FLOW BOTTLE SHAPE COOLING TOWER

    In FRP cooling towers production a special composition of raw materials are selected to withstand corrosion, to resist water borne bacteria and organisms & is light in weight which permits roof installation with special reinforcement of any kind. Vertical induced draft counter-flow design permits installation in any direction with freedom. It consumes less power (energy) overall because of less air resistance to water, saving in operational costs. Available in various colors matching to exterior architectural beauty. A direct driven axial fan ensures the system is free from problems faced with belt & gear drives.

    Specifications:

    Casing: Cooling Tower Casing is made of selected grade materials of tough Fibre Glass Reinforced Polyester & resins, etc. Additional embossing is done for extra strength in case of big cooling towers.

    Fill: ATPIL Honeycomb & ring type P.V.C fills are used for extended contact area having a high heat transfer efficiency. The crossing of air & water streams in close proximity which creates a diffused turbulence conducive to evaporation & efficient heat transfer.

    Water Basin: is completely leak proof which avoids spillage & seepage of water. It is of deep sump design to ensure maximum water level at all times & made up of FRP with additional stiffening to take care of extra water weight. However RCC basin is recommended for capacities 300TR and above.

    Sprinkler: ATIPL specially designed rotary sprinkler head is made of PVC/aluminium alloy to avoid corrosion, also fitted with sealed ball bearings to take care of thrust & radial loads. S.S. & Brass sprinklers are also provided at an extra cost.

    Fan: ATIPL cast aluminium alloy fan is of aero dynamic designed axial flow type to achieve high efficiency. FRP fan set can also be supplied on request at extra cost.

    Drift Eliminator: To reduce carry out losses through entrainment of moisture drops in the stream by specially designed multi-blade rotary drift eliminator made of FRP sheets/aluminium. Additional PVC eliminator is provided in large capacity cooling towers.

    Motor: Special low RPM totally enclosed motors of Vertical, Flange type with enlarged & threaded shaft and sealed top is supplied with the cooling tower. The motor is also weather proof and in IP-55 construction.

    Supports & Hardware: All components like tower supports, motor supports, leg supports, etc. are either hot dip galvanised or epoxy coated. Hardware is Galvanised Steel. Stainless Steel or Phosphor Bronze hardwares can be supplied on request at extra cost.

    COUNTER FLOW RECTANGULAR/SQUARE SHAPE

    Specifications:

    Casing: ATIPL casing is constructed from FRP moulded panels suitably flanged. All joints sealed with water proof compound and bolted together with galvanised steel bolts or stainless steel bolts unless specified otherwise. Additional embossing is done for extra strength.

    Fill: General fill consists of Honeycomb PVC film type splash deck is modules with high resistant to corrosion & highly efficient for heat transfer .

    Fan: The fan consists of axial propeller fan blades of special alloy aluminium blades of designed aerofoil construction. The blades are of adjustable pitch connected to a common M.S.H.D.G./Aluminium Alloy Hub. The fan is statically balanced.FRP fan set can also be supplied on request at extra cost.

    Drift Eliminator: To reduce carry out losses through entrainment of moisture rops in the air stream by specially designed multiblade rotary drift eliminator made of FRP aluminium sheets.

    Water Distribution System: The hot water is raised by hot water riser & taken inside by a M.S.H.D.G./P.V.C. hot water header inside. Branch distribution pipes fitted with Polypropelene Splash cups / non clogging nozzles are connected to hot water header and uniform water distribution over entire fill is achieved. It is totally maintenance free distribution.

    PULTRUDED FRP COOLING TOWERS

    The Pultruded FRP Cooling Towers are not only light weight but are non corrosive and have long life and high strength.

    The construction and installation time is very less compared to conventional RCC or wooden Cooling tower.

    ATIPL  Pultruded FRP Cooling Towers are available with single cell capacity upto 5000 M3/Hr & Multi cell capacities upto any size in counter flow design with film fill & splash fill design.

    ATIPL, Pultruded FRP Cooling Towers which are not only efficient but also of ultimate quality, reliability and longevity. They are best suited for sea water application, as a replacement for old large Wooden Cooling Towers and as a new Cooling Tower instead of RCC or Wooden Cooling Towers.

    STRUCTURE is made up of Pultruded Fiberglass material.

    HARDWARE Hot dip galvanized are used to withstand corrosion. Stainless Steel hardware is available at extra cost.

    CASING is made up of Pultruded FRP/Corrugated FRP Sheets of adequate thickness.

    FAN DECK is made up of robust & Strong Pultruded FRP Panels/Sheets.

    FAN CYLINDER is made up of tough & durable FRP/GRP material.

    DRIFT ELIMINATOR ATIPL Uses efficient PVC Drift Eliminator in cellular / full wave design to reduce water losses & fan air pressure resulting in low energy consumption by fan. Fill of Film type or Splash type as per requirement of client is provided.

    NOZZLES made up of PP/PVC, non clogging type are provided for optimum efficiency. Drive shafts duly balanced in SS/HDG Steel material in hollow construction are provided.

    GEAR BOX ATIPL offer Gear Box of Spiral bevel or Spiral Bevel cum helical.These are made to meet requirement of STD-III of CTI, USA and AGMA standards. Prior to shipment, load testing of each & every gear box, is carried out at factory to provide our clients zero defect Gear Box.

    WATER / AIR COOLED SCROLL CHILLING PLANT

    Water cooled chillers have longer life, higher efficiency, large capacity and also refrigerant containment. Water-cooled chillers are typically intended for indoor installation and operation, and are cooled by a separate condenser water loop and connected to outdoor cooling towers to expel heat to the atmosphere.

    Due to their less consumption of power they are usually preferred by those seeking optimum efficiency of power consumption.

    Water cooled chillers may be preferred because of better heat transfer properties of water as compared to air cooled chillers. The primary advantage of water is that the film coefficient is better with water than air. Film coefficient controls heat transfer with given constant area and temperature difference.

    Air-cooled chillers absorb heat from process water and transferred to the ambient air. They are mostly used in applications where the heat discharged is not a factor. They don’t need a cooling tower and condense water pump. The maintenance of air cooled chillers are less than water cooled units.

    Air-cooled chillers are intended for outdoor installation and operation. Air-cooled machines are directly cooled by ambient air being mechanically circulated directly through the machine’s condenser coil to expel heat to the atmosphere.

    CFC FREE WATER / AIR COOLED CHILLING PLANT

    Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) have been extensively used in air conditioning and refrigeration systems worldwide.CFC free Chilling Plants as alternatives to conventional centrifugal, screw and reciprocating equipment.ATIPL Chilling plants optimized engineered conversion can result in a significant efficiency improvement in CFC Free chillers, provided there is excess cooling capacity.

    GLYCOL BASED WATER / AIR COOLED CHILLING PLANT

    Glycol chillers are designed and manufactured specifically for low temperature applications in contrast to a medium temperature chiller modified to operate at some lower temperature.

    Low temperature glycol chillers can be applied for process cooling or as part of a secondary refrigerant system for chilled and cold storage applications. Packaged chillers can be supplied in a range of capacities with the capability to provide glycol at temperatures from +5°C to as low as -50°C.
