    Air Techno India Private Limited, AHU are manufactured in different models ranges in the double skin, as the name suggests has an outer casing made of sandwiched panels, resulting in low noise, sturdy construction and better thermal insulation. The panels are pressure injected with polyurethane foam, using CFC free R-141 blowing agent. High and uniform PUF provides better thermal conductivity and sound attenuation properties.

    WORKING PRINCIPLES

    Summer Operations – The return air from the room is exhausted via the heat recover wheel, which in turn, pre-cools the fresh air . The fresh air is further cooled using the integrated DX cooling system, in order to achieve the desired temperature. The humidity is controlled using the electric heaters, if required.

    Winter Operation – In  case the return  temperature  is lower than the desired room temperature, the optional refrigerant- reverse valve is used to interchange the operation of evaporator and condenser coils. The operation of heat recovery wheel reverses as well. The humidity is generally self controlled by the recovery wheel and heating coil in this case.

    Intermediate Operation -The volume control dampers and frequency inverters of the fans play a vital role in achieving user-defined room conditions. Air Techno India Private Limited facilitates a completely flexible and  automated mixing of upto 50% of return and ambient air before merging them into supply air stream. The reversing of refrigerant depends on the difference of ambient and room temperature.

    Free Cooling – In summers, the room can be cooled down using the free overnight cooling mode, when the ambient temperature drops below the required room temperature at night. The use of heat recovery as well as the compressor is generally stopped in this mode. Moreover, this mode can also be used for fumigation of the room, especially in case of operation theaters.

    The electrical control panel is supplied with an optional touch panel (which can be installed in unit or in room), and can be used to input the requirements as well as monitor the performance of the unit. The unit can be easily used with BMS.

    High Indoor Air Quality – Double skin panel construction allows easy inspection, cleaning and maintenance of the smooth inner surface, reducing the risk of dirt and bacteria accumulation. There is no erosion of internal insulation material to contaminate the air stream. Improved panel frame arrangement by overlapping wedge and special gasket reduces air leaks into the casing significantly. This maintains the indoor air quality and also provides the better thermal and acoustic performance.

    Low Noise – Usage of double skin casing , fans, anti-vibration spring isolators, which isolated the fan from the main structure thus minimizing vibration and results in low operation noise.

    Casing Structure – Specially drawn anodized  rigid frame work, comprising of externally champhered and thermal barrier. The profiles are connected by means of special nylon corners to form the AHU sections.

    The units are designed in structurized construction and having completely smooth internal surface . EPDM based sealing gasket are used between panels and profiles.

    Air tight doors are mounted for servicing, wherever necessary on the unit. The doors are fitted with nylon handle and cam locks that can be operated internally for additional safety. Die cast aluminium hinges are used for heavy duty load bearing design.

    DAMPER – The damper section are sized according to the air velocity, as a standard airfoil type and opposed blade dampers are used. Air leakage is minimized by means of the seals at the edge of blades, actuators and flexible connections can be included optionally. Hinges are used for heavy duty load bearing design.
